The province of Noord Brabant is responsible for ensuring that LDM complies with environmental legislation and regulations. Recently, a study was undertaken into how this supervision could better connect into the care systems within businesses. This led to the ‘System focussed supervision’ pilot project. LDM has been taking part in this trial since the beginning of the year.

LDM optimizes its production processes. One can think of production processes in the fields of transportation, production planning and raw material allocation. To accomplish this LDM uses mathematical methods from the specialism of Operations Research.

Our raw materials consist of scrap metal which is sourced from around the world. In a scarce market it is not unthinkable that materials could come onto the market which should not really be there.

LDM customers can request variations to existing standardized alloys to create a so-called customer alloy.
