This week LDM has started using its new holding oven (delivered by Russ), an investment of € 325.000,-. LDM fortifies in this way its position within the specials market, since with the use of this oven alloys can be poured at 100% Cu without any problems onto the horizontal pouring machine. At the same time, thanks to the ultra-modern temperature adjustment system, the quality of our pouring billets has improved. An important fact for LDM, which considers durability to be a significant factor, is that by using this new oven savings are achieved in energy consumption. |
