Mission Statement LDM

LDM manufactures and supplies copper alloy rod and billets for special high-grade applications. Our customers are primarily in the automotive and aviation industries, the defence sector, construction, the premium bathroom fittings and fixture branch, and the maritime sector. LDM supplies over 30 countries around the world. Drawing on our extensive knowledge of products and processes, we are able to make a valuable contribution to finding the ideal solutions and answers to our customers’ requirements and challenges.

By continuously increasing the depth of our knowledge and improving our logistic and production processes, we are able to produce high-grade products with a very short delivery and lead time. Our operations are supported by an ambitious investment strategy, which aims to increase quality, safety and sustainability.

LDM is ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 certified. Mid 2011 we will attain the ISO TS 16949 certificate, signifying the next step in our pursuit of superior quality.

Our headquarters and production sites are located in Drunen, in the southern Netherlands. Our specialized foundry produces high-grade billets for company use and to sell to our customers. Using the press, drawing benches and other specialized production machines, our bar/rod products are extruded, cold pressed and finished to meet the exact requirements of our customers.

LDM is part of Metal Valley. Metal Valley aims to stimulate innovation and R&D in the field of high-grade non ferrous products and to further develop into a knowledge centre specialising in non ferrous products.

Our German sales office is located in Mönchengladbach and serves Germany, Austria and Switzerland. We have two warehouses in Germany that maintain a huge variety of products in stock to guarantee outstanding service and fast delivery.
