As a manufacturer of copper alloy rod and billets, LDM would like to be one of the very best producers in the world within its chosen niche markets.

The organization is very flexible with its customers and produces using safe, clean and sustainable methods.

Quality

At LDM everything centres on the customer at all times. LDM's quality management system focuses on the continuous management and improvement of operational processes to ensure that our products always meet the needs and expectations of our customers. That way LDM guarantees the quality of the products and makes sure that customers are always given the products they expect. LDM’s quality management system is ISO 9001 certified. For the scope customers the processes are structured in conformity with the ISO TS 16949 quality standard, in which use is made of core tools including FMEA, CP, MSA, PPAP and SPC.

Health & Safety
LDM believes that creating and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace is vital. Their H&S policy focuses on the prevention of personal injuries and ensuring that continuous improvements are made in this area. LDM pays a great deal of attention to the safety and health of all of the people who work with or for the company. The policy and objectives in relation to employment conditions are carefully attuned to the demands of the Works Council. External experts check this policy according to valid legislation and regulations. LDM is well known for being an honest and ethical partner, an excellent employer and a responsible neighbor. LDM’s health and safety management system is OHSAS 18001 certified.

The environment & sustainability
Nowadays, it is important to realize that whatever we do now has consequences for our environment. LDM is very much aware of this. In its activities, LDM employs scarce raw materials and auxiliary sources. As a manufacturer of copper alloys, LDM is committed to continuously reducing the environmental impact of its activities. LDM achieves this by developing products with a long lifespan, designing new alloys that are free from damaging heavy metals whenever possible, using secondary raw materials, keeping an eye on energy consumption and re or up-cycling materials at the end of their lifecycle. In addition to the activities set out above, LDM also encourages its employees to work and live in an environmentally-aware manner. LDM’s environmental management system is ISO 14001 certified.
